Celebrate Your Music with #SomosFiOS Twitter Party! And Wear Some Fly Shoes!

Shoes, shoes, shoes! You know I'm all about the shoes! I've featured some of my faves here, here and here! 

You know they're essential for every day wearing and dancing. As, a wannabe ballroom or street dancer (a la Shakira and Beyoncé), I dance every time I have the opportunity. I'm Latina, so I love nothing more than shaking my hips. Yes, I've even gracefully topped a table and got my shake on! That was in Mexico, so it's totally excusable. 


How appropriate and perfect timing is it that I'm co-hosting (as a panelist) a fabulous and virtually hip-shaking Twitter party, sponsored by Fios, the communications giant that offers our must-haves: Internet, cable and phone.  

Why a Twitter party?  Well, they along with Latina Mom Bloggers are partying for the "Celebrate our Music" (see previous post) in anticipation of the upcoming Latin music awards show in Las Vegas . For two hours, we'll be chatting up our fave songs, music genres, artists and performances. During the fiesta, we'll also be unveiling the launch of the Verizon Fios "Celebrate Our Music" Facebook Sweepstakes. 

What better way to spend your Tuesday evening, sitting at your computer, with a sexy pair of heels on, tweeting away and talking up all things music!

Sexy Shoe Sunday: The Perfect White Pump

I was supposed to be married at 24. That was my dream age. I had everything planned out. A huge Cinderella style gown, a tiara, 300 guests, sparkly shoes and hand-picked flowers. 

So much of my dream has changed. Now, it's more like a Grecian-style or Vera Wang gown (or a couture Carolina Herrera), a fabulous fascinator, my mom's jewelry and some bad ass pumps [maybe 150 people]

In anticipation of being married in the last 5 years, I bought some amazing Narciso Rodriguez white satin pumps. I neatly kept them stored in their dust bag and box for 3 years until I realized that man had still not come. Since then, I've rocked the hotness out of them and are one of my faves. 

And then Charlotte Olympia came along, made her debut and and took the shoe industry by lustful storm. Her Fall '11 line is sick and one to seriously covet. There's not one shoe I don't like. But, of all the pumps, I particularly love this Paloma stain pump. Though the green one speaks unparalleled sexiness to me, these white ones are breathtakingly heavenly. Perfect for a bride. 

Even if I were to get married within the year, these would be in top contention. Wouldn't you say!
