So, if you didn't know, I'm a bona fide hat connoisseur and own over 200 ranging from vintage, modern, 18" floppy to church glamor, Stetson cowboys to flapper style pillboxes. Needless to say, I gravitate to any editorials highlighting the season's best accessory. Some how, and exciting for me, they're holding steady and making a huge statement this season.
The eye candy, making my head spin twice is Louis Vuitton's fall campaign seen in all the magazines. It epitomizes so many elements of my life and sense of style. The vintage aesthetic, the beautiful demure cladding, the simple and practical traveling cases, and the avant garde toppers, of course! I can appreciate the effortless design of the hats which is somewhat nonchalant and slouchy, yet sophisticated with delicate embellishments. It's all genius styling and eclectically elegant.
Georgio Armani goes bold with high top fedoras in fur felt with dramatic folds. I'd take every color of that design.
Ralph Lauren goes classic and country chic with his drivers' caps of corduroy and simpler textures compared to classic mens' bowlers, while Donna Karan goes men's business like with structured suits with more simplistic and minimalist designs though having hard lines. Feathers would have paired nicely with such a masculine look, but she struck a clean look in that direction.
There are other designers whom I admire and have done a distinguishably spectacular job of bringing the hat back, but these are my best choices because of their obvious opulence.
Do you wear hats? Which is your fave from these collections?

I do love hats! I love the first and third hat, as I wear those kinds quite a bit.
Lovely pictures, just lovely!
Best,
