Few things have pushed me to become wildly obsessed about in the last two years. I've done this amazing growth within myself where I'm learning to detach from material things and not place so much value on them. It's been an amazing process of decluttering.
But makeup is something's that taken a different role. As any average girl, makeup has always appealed to us. The sparkles, glitter, colors, shine, etc... It's all so pretty. And the idea of sitting at a fabulous vanity and getting dolled up is just innate to us. So you've probably noticed the amount of beauty and makeup reviews I've been doing here on B So Chic!
I'm officially obsessed with all things makeup. I just can't get enough. I have my faves, my defaults, my wishlists, and the really special products I reserve for ultra special occasion.
Artistry Beauty's makeup falls into my faves and default categories. They're eyeliner is hands down the best I've ever used on a daily basis. Everything about it just works. No smear, no smudge and applies on super easy.
After my 2 day trip to their headquarters in Michigan this year, and rocking a lab coat while a VIP group hopped between R & D labs, seeing how it all comes to life, I was more impressed and interested in their collections. Their skincare works really for me, but their makeup is still my favorite product they put out.
Their fall 2013 collection is all about that sparkle. 'Galaxy' is all about mirroring the trends we saw on the runway during fashion week. The mineral based hues for the eyes and cheeks are shimmery invite a intergalactic look. I love the sound of it. And nothing like a bold red lip with some casual shine to make it pop. The dual lipgloss stick does the trick. It's an easy purse mainstay.
And you already know I'm in love with the new eyeliner. It's more of a highlighter liner which brightens the eye with a subtle illuminating effect. It's creamy and stays. That's key for me in a good liner. This one is reserved for special occasion, though. Their antique silver is my go-to.
If you're not familiar with Artistry's makeup, check it out. I tell no lie when I pump it up and share with you... it delivers every time.
Cheers to staying chic, pretty, and dolled up. It's our job.
